Jacopo's “alternative transcendental folk” combines warm and rhythmic instruments (classical guitar, bass, mandolin, percussions) with more electronic sounds (keyboards, sound effects) to create an explosive sonic cocktail. Drawing from Italian traditional songs, Middle Eastern influences, and New Wave music, Jacopo’s performances are “witty inspiring journeys into a vortex of imaginary worlds and emotions” (Alex Muscat, Last Stop Records).

His music encompasses a broad range of melodies, moods and arrangements that captivates the listeners with sweet melodic pop songs and adrenaline driven polkas, world music rhythmic tunes and slightly psychedelic transcendental voyages.

“Inspired by European Café Rock, Tropicalia and Global Rhythms Jacopo manages on his debut album to show a variety of styles and directions, still keeping it encapsulated in a satisfying whole. Treading a path between the Baroque Pop of Lucio Battisti and the frenetic rhythms of Manu Chao, Jacopo manages to charm with infectious songs sung in both Italian and English and a unique instrumentation including mandolins, hand percussions and some rather masterful kazoo playing! Nice!” (Scott Hewicker, Aquarius Records)
