I got psyched with wood sculpting when I was 17 or 18. Since then I've worked with a lot of materials and people, often made the art into my temporary profession. I've worked on commisssion for a toy company. I still love the material, the plastic smoothness of fibers that were alive in a tree and then get tranformed into something new, defined but still changing, evolving.
